Developed in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Bandung, our breathable rattan wall panel represents a new frontier in natural material innovation. Crafted from rattan sheets cut vertically to expose their natural capillary structure, the panel allows light to diffuse softly while enabling continuous airflow. This transformation of rattan’s internal anatomy creates a living, breathing membrane that is both functional and visually refined. To elevate its performance further, the panel integrates an ultrafiltration membrane within the rattan structure, allowing incoming air to be naturally filtered before entering the space. This added layer captures fine particles and impurities, delivering cleaner, fresher air while maintaining the organic warmth and tactile beauty of rattan.
